I just want to share a little bit of pampering from last night. There is one area in my life where I spare no expense and that's my hair. Pretty, healthy hair just makes me feel good. It is also very important to me that I click with my stylist. Years ago I had moved and needed to find a new stylist and salon. I don't know about you but that was no easy task. I went through many before I found my sweetie pie Alyssa, at Innovations in Merrimack NH. Before her I experienced the chatty patty, then the one who wouldn't talk to me at all, then the nasty snob, then the 'pretend' stylist (she really needed to find a new profession), finally I was lucky enough to discover Alyssa. She has the perfect balance of professionalism, humor and incredible talent. She is also absolutely adorable!
I have fairly thin hair so it is difficult to grow long because once it gets beyond my shoulders it just doesn't look good. For years I have wanted to get extensions and 3 months ago I finally did it and I could not be happier. My salon uses SO.CAP extensions. I love them! I love how they look and they really don't require much maintenance. I really only have to be gentle when brushing. I use a satin pillowcase so my hair doesn't have extra friction and I keep it in a braid when sleeping. That's about it.
