Butcher's Table From France

I'm still here! 
So busy with a work project and really missing my blog time!

Just popping in to share a photo I snapped recently of a beefy little butcher's table from France.
I think this is such a beautiful piece of furniture, the color green is a wonderful mossy shade.
If you look close you can see that it was built in a sloped manner on the surface so the table could remain clear of all the drainings.  The left raised surface is marble.

  1. As beautiful as this piece is, it grosses me out a bit at the slant in the middle. I do love the colors and trim. Neat find.

    My cousin said pretty much the same thing.
    I can only imagine the butchering that took place on that board!
    It was easy to pass up with a price tag of $4000.
